What is the best way to get rid of bees, wasps and yellow jackets behind my ship?
I live in Tampa Bay, Florida and has a big problem with a combination of bees, wasps and yellow jackets who live behind my shed. I guess they were attracted by a large orange tree on the other side of the fence behind the shed, including flowering trees and shrubs nearby. There is also some excess growth of other trees that prevent easy access to the nest (s) I'm nervous to cut because I do not want to disturb things and has lots of biting insects coming after me. How much is usually for get a professional to remove them? Will they go dormant when it gets colder so you can return there and get rid of the hives / nests?
In cold climates, they will go dormant. That's when you can cut the slow progress away. Would have to call the professionals for an estimate. Beekeepers can get the bees nest. Usually free. If you have a good hive and bees. Spray with the spray that kills them in a distant, soaking nests of wasps and yellow jackets with the kind that sprays at a distance will get those.

I live out of flour oats, Wout anythinh pasta in it, rice and tofu if I get lucky. But is not there and vegetables do not want to apply for foodstamps. What I can do, is also investigating and gardens that could use the aid in return for free vegetables. Please give me your opinion and advice. Thank you.

plant death?
I have an African violet in a small pot on my kitchen island. It is next to the window but there is light, because I have a large bay window near him. It is based in one of those pots that put water in the background and the roots absorb what they need. He was doing very well and makes a week that started to turn brown and the flowers all died. The edges of the leaves a bit brown in some respects and all the flowers dry. It seems that new ones could be coming in. What am I doing wrong? What I can do better? As I said, its an African violet. As I said, its supposed to be a self watering pot. The first time was note that looking bad, I checked the pot and the water was really low, a bit of dry soil so add more water to the pot bottom. Did not do better than simply kept getting worse. Is it the sunlight it needs more?
Sounds like too much water. African violets are susceptible to crown rot if they get too wet. That's why we are the underdogs watering pots. But the soil often absorb more water than is healthy for the plant. Cut the dead leaves and stems of dead flowers and let the plant dry out a bit.
