Many people think of bonsai in one form, a small plant resembling a tree. However, there is more to bonsai trees than it seems.
It is important to realize that a bonsai tree is not a genetically dwarfed species, but a tree that you are in nature would stature. In some cases, these trees can grow 100 feet. But because of the techniques developed over centuries, it is possible to maintain these trees a fraction its normal size.
In addition, Bonsai trees do not just create a style. The best specimens have been carefully planned and trained to grow to their exact appearance. These people who have devoted years to the creation of these beautiful trees are often referred to as artists. They are sculptors of life, growing statues.
For the beginner can break down the types of Bonsai trees in five main categories (although there is potential more complicated style.) They are:
- Vertical formal
- Vertical informal
- Style inclined
- Semi-cascade style
- Cascading style
Formal Portrait
The formal upright style is considered a replica of a tree that has grown in the perfect setting in perfect condition.
To be considered vertical "Formal" Bonsai tree must meet certain requirements.
1. There must be a balance and even declining trunk, from base to top
2. The stem should be a vertical straight line
3. Viewed from the front, the tree must grow in this pattern:
a. The lowest branch is the longest branch
b. The second branch in the trunk until it is directly opposite of the first division and is slightly shorter
c. The third branch is directly above the first branch and is slightly shorter than the second branch
d. The task ahead is directly over the second half and is slightly shorter than the third branch
e. ... and so on until the top of the tree is reduced to a point
Even though it has look very simple, it's actually a very demanding way to achieve properly.
Informal upright
This is much more relaxed the formal upright style. It is designed to resemble a tree that has grown up in a typical environment in the wind, light and other trees play a factor.
A typical informal upright bonsai tree will have the following requirements
· We have a tapered trunk and be wider at the base of the upper
· It usually has a curved or "S" in the trunk
• The top (or apex) will focus, or close to center on the trunk base
The slope style
This type of Bonsai tree again, a style quite easy to accomplish. A tree that represents a very young age had to seek sunlight.
A Bonsai Tree Style inclined will have the following requirements
· It will stem decline
• The trunk can be straight or curve
• The tree must lean left or right
• The top (or peak) of the tree should not be centered on the base of the trunk
Semi-cascade style
This type of Bonsai tree takes a different route for the past three styles. In this particular style, we drop the tree on the edge of the pot and out to the left or right of the boat.
The Semi-cascade style has the following requirements
• The peak of the tree extends beyond the edge of the Bonsai pot is on the left or right
• The falling trees on the edge of the pot, but do not drop below the base of the pot
· The trunk grows into a basic horizontal direction compared with the typical style vertical
It is important to consider this type of bonsai trees, and the cascading style pots require more help as a counterweight to keep the tree from falling.
Cascading Style
This type of Bonsai tree is a continuation of the earlier style. But where the peak of Semi-Cascade Bonsai tree does not fall below the base of the pot, we intend to the peak of the Cascade Bonsai fall significantly below the Bonsai pot.
The cascading style have the following requirements
· The trunk should taper from base to peak
• The peak should be below the base of the bonsai pot
• The trunk should be centered in the pot

I am a virgin garden just started this spring with absolutely no story at all. I planted jalapeno and yellow peppers, about 15 in total, in a garden 12 x 12 feet. Do you need lots of sun? Should receive food of plant origin (I've been using)? Or should I just let nature take its course while making sure they are properly watered? What are the odds of killing a beginner this type of vegetables? Any ideas would be appreciated!
