By creating a rustic garden or country house design is only limited by your imagination. You can easily use objects found in your garden and look great. You can also collect old and antique garden objects and give them a new home.
Use unusual items such as planters. You can use almost anything as a container. I've seen trucks, used rowboats, and even kitchen sinks used as planters. When an issue turns on an unusual pot, be sure to cut or drill drainage holes in the bottom so that your plants do not drown. Also, if there are children around to make sure that there is no peeling paint. Many of the old items have lead paint on them and do not want children at that.
The reuse of garden structures old. One of my favorite things to do is re-used cast iron garden arch. These are very durable and can still find those who are a hundred years age. If you use any type of arch in your garden make sure that either one way or leads to a new part of your garden to best effect.
Another major Article for reuse (if you can find it) is an old garden bench or bistro set. The elderly were built stronger than they are today, and you find that with a little refinishing can really make your garden stand out.
Use as kitchen chairs garden furniture. If you can pick up some kitchen chairs at a garage sale, which make great garden accents, just make sure polyurethane in a matte finish to keep them apart from you.
Decorate your garden in a rustic style is fun and creative.
